Reference and background checks are conducted based on the Ministry of Education's licensing requirements. This includes all appropriate criminal background checks and verification of educational credentials.
Teacher Qualifications at Vincent Massey Academy:
- Lead teachers are registered under the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (ECE) or the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- CPR and First -Aid Certified
- Proficient in early learning and child-development milestones
- Annual professional development training
