OUR STORY
In 1985, Vincent Massey Academy (VMA) was founded with a passion for of providing quality care and early education to children in the Etobicoke community.
Our Daisy Campus was our original location and was opened with three classrooms in a school previously owned by the Toronto District School Board- Vincent Massey Public School. Over the years, we developed a long standing reputation in the community of excellence in early education and grew from three classrooms to fourteen.
In 2014, we opened our second campus which operates out of the Franklin Horner Community Centre. Our Franklin Horner Campus currently provides early learning programs to over 90 Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten students.
Through an in-depth understanding of child development and learning styles, in 2017, we officially extended our programs into the primary years. Taking the success of our Early Years Programs, which foster loving and welcoming classrooms enriched with learning, and pairing it with a passion for a new age style of education, we started Vincent Massey Academy Day School.
Between all of our programs, VMA now has over 290 students in our programs ranging in Pre-Kindergarten to the primary years, up to Grade 6. We eagerly look forward to sharing your families' learning journey with you as we continue to grow our VMA family. Our passionate team of experienced and talented educators are honoured to be a part of this exciting time for you and your family as your child embarks on their educational path.
